Ice climbing on the “Boka” wall

Season: December through March, subject to appropriate temperatures

Location: Bovec Sport Center – Pension Boka

Access: self drive to parking lot at Pension Boka

Duration: Open from 9.00 to 22.00, hourly rates apply

New to Bovec – man made ice wall! We created this ice wall not only for lovers for ice climbing, but also for those who would like to experience this thrilling sport for the first time.

Hourly rates:

-    Day climbing (9.00 – 17.00):     5,00 €

-    Night climbing (17.00 – 22.00): 7,00 €

Compulsory equipment rental (hourly rates):

-    Crampons: 5,00 €

-    Ice axe:     5,00 €

-    Helmet:      2,50 €

-    Harness:     2,50 €

-    Rope:         5,00 €

A climbing instructor is available to assist with belaying: 15,00 € per hour

Traditional ski gear is suitable for ice climbing: (ie. Thermals, Outerwear, Gloves, Ski Boots, Goggles)
