NEW!

We are introducing a new inflatable kayak to the Soca River and with it a new portfolio of kayak descents! Details: we now offer a self bailing kayak, which is safe, soft and minimizes impact related injuries. It is more stable, easier to maneuver, lightweight, requires less upfront skill and is an excellent introductory vessel before learning “real” kayaking!

We have also modified the paddle, which is longer than the usual and absent of an angle, making it much easier for beginners.

Kayak descent ČEZSOČA

Section: Čezsoča – Boka

Duration: up to 3 hours, including transportation time

Degree of difficulty: Easy (I)

This is an easy descent, suitable for just about anyone.

Kayak descent BOKA

Section: Boka - Srpenica 2

Duration: up to 3 hours, including transportation time

Degree of difficulty: Easy (I – II)

This is also an easy descent, suitable for just about anyone.

Kayak descent ZMUKLICA

Section: Zmuklica – Čezsoča

Duration: up to 4 hours, including transportation time

Degree of difficulty: Intermediate (II – III)

This is slightly more difficult descent, suitable for the brave.

Customized kayak descents

If you are looking to cater for a larger group - we are also able to customize a kayak descent to suit your specific needs. This type of offering is highly suitable when combined with some of our other tour offerings and we will gladly collaborate on the design of a unique package for your group.

Potential river entry points could be:

Lepena, Zmuklica, Vodenca (confluence), Čezsoča, Boka, Srpenica 1 and 2, Otona, Kobarid and Kamno.

Potential river exit points could be:

Vodenca, Čezsoča, Boka, Srpenica 1 and 2, Trnovo, Kobarid, Kamno and Tolmin.

Kayak school

The mother of all BOVEC SPORT CENTER sporting activities is kayaking. Our instructors built founded their whitewater education in a kayak and possess exceptional whitewater skills.

Respectively, we have descended many of the notable Alpine waterways, also Nepal, South America, Australia, Corsica etc. We are collectively true members of the worldwide kayak outdoor family. In our kayak school, which is out boutique offering, we use our teaching talent (we presume we have some) to give you a taste of our multi year experience and through this awaken your desire to truly conquer the wild waters.
